The process
The starting point is existing materials - vintage pieces, preloved, surplus and other overlooked materials, most selected for their quality and natural fibres. Due to the nature of sourcing, exact composition may not always be available.
One-of-one SISTER STUDIO pieces are developed thoughtfully through upcycling, reworking and repurposing. Each piece is individually numbered within a limited studio production.
Occasional minor irregularities or traces of previous life, if present, are inherent to vintage materials and are embraced as part of the final piece.
