Returns & Refunds

SISTER STUDIO is a small independent studio, creating one-of-one pieces in limited quantities. Due to the individual nature of each piece and the resources involved in running a small studio, returns are generally discouraged.

We kindly ask customers to purchase thoughtfully and carefully review all measurements, product descriptions and images before placing an order. Each piece is unique and cannot simply be replaced or restocked.

This approach does not affect your statutory consumer rights, including the applicable right of withdrawal.

Ready-to-ship pieces (EU customers)

For ready-to-ship orders delivered within the European Union, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies, including to discounted items.

To exercise this right, customers must notify SISTER STUDIO at hello@sisterstudio.eu within 14 days of receiving their order. Items must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notification.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Items should be returned unworn, unused, with tags attached and in their original packaging wherever possible. Trying on garments indoors, as in a fitting room, is permitted. Any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to examine the item may be deducted from the refund, as permitted by law.

Please contact the studio before shipping your return to receive the appropriate return instructions. This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal.

Custom-made & personalised pieces

Pieces made to individual customer specifications or clearly personalised are final sale and not eligible for change-of-mind returns, where the applicable legal exception applies. This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty or incorrectly supplied items.

International returns (non-EU)

Change-of-mind returns for orders delivered outside the European Union are not accepted unless required by applicable consumer law.

Damages, defects & incorrect items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact the studio as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours, if an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect.

SISTER STUDIO works with existing materials. Minor irregularities, variations and traces of previous use are inherent to vintage and pre-loved pieces and are not considered defects where clearly disclosed in the product description.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Exchanges

Exchanges are not available due to the one-of-one nature of the pieces. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Refunds

Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of withdrawal notification, including standard original delivery costs where applicable.

SISTER STUDIO may withhold the refund until the returned item has been received or proof of return shipment has been provided.

Additional delivery charges for shipping methods exceeding the least expensive standard delivery option are non-refundable where permitted by law.
